The content of detailed information provided within a Nationwide Aircraft Appraisal Service Comprehensive Desktop Appraisal Report is essentially the same information as found within the full inspection certified appraisal report. However, there is a difference in how information about an aircraft is collected. Rather than having an appraiser personally collect the information during the appraisal inspection, our desktop appraisal process allows for a knowledgeable party such as the aircraft owner or licensed maintenance provider to provide the information to us on our clear and concise aircraft information forms. The forms address every important detail about the aircraft and its maintenance records we require to process the appraisal report.
Once the completed aircraft information forms are returned to us, the process of establishing aircraft value begins in the same manor as with the full inspection certified appraisal. Utilizing our extensive aircraft sales record database, the provided information is analyzed and compared to the transaction details of recently sold comparable aircraft as well as those currently offered for sale.
Upon completion and approval, the 30 to 40 page
USPAP compliant appraisal report is then delivered to the client electronically normally within 5 business days after the aircraft information forms are returned to us.
